To our customers, friends, families, loved ones, and fellow members of the Grand Rapids community,

It seems very much like we are in uncharted territory right now. As new cases of the novel coronavirus COVID-19 continue to spread and be confirmed across the country and across the globe, many people find themselves nervous, uncertain, and taking extra precautions to avoid human contact as much as possible. We get it—we’re in the same situation you are. We want to stop the spread and keep everyone safe as much as you do. That’s why we here at Grapids Heating & Cooling are taking a number of extra precautions in order to keep you and your loved ones protected during this time.

Community Safeguards

We understand that with so many people choosing voluntary self-quarantine and low-level isolation over the next few weeks or even few months, emergencies will still happen. Your air conditioner may need a tune-up or your heater may give out on you. You still may come across a time where you need help from an HVAC professional. We believe you shouldn’t hesitate or feel nervous about doing so, and we’re committed to being there for you when you need us.

To help protect our community, we’ve implemented a number of safeguards and additional procedures that our team is abiding by during this period of time. First, we are making sure that only healthy staff members are sent out on service calls. If any member of our team feels ill for any reason, they are under stringent instructions to stay home and recover.

We have also implemented a number of additional cleaning procedures. All technicians are required to wash their hands both before and after every job in order to make sure they remain clean and sanitary. We are also cleaning our tools and machines daily to ensure that their frequent usage doesn’t place you at any additional risk either. We believe that these measures will provide you with the protection you need so you can rest assured that when you call us, you and your home are safe.

However, we’re also asking that our community return the favor to us. If you are experiencing any flu-like symptoms, please contact us to reschedule your appointment to a later date. Our goal is to help limit the spread of the virus, and we can only do that by working together with everyone else. We would be happy to accommodate the need for appointment changes, especially when it is so vital to your health as well.

We continue to be extremely thankful to the city of Grand Rapids and the surrounding areas for their continued support of our family-owned business year after year, particularly during this difficult time.
