Before launching Grapids Home Services in 1999, Nathan Engelsma honed his technical and business skills working as a technician for another company. When first starting out, the company partnered with around 30 local builders to provide new construction services. But when the recession hit, many of the builders ceased operating, and Nathan decided to branch out on his own, expanding into residential heating and cooling.
